General Policies
Rental period
| Minimum | - 2 hours, 4 hours, or 3 days depending on equipment |
| Day Rate | - 24 hours. |
| Week Rate | - 7 consecutive days to the same time |
| 4 Week Rate | - 4 consecutive weeks to the same time |
NOTE: RENT CHARGED FOR ALL TIME OUT. For you to get the best value for your money, return all items on or before the date and time DUE IN on your rental contract.
Identification
Existing Customers:
A valid MN driver’s license is required for ALL rentals. A current utility bill or major credit card may be required as a second form of identification. Proof of insurance is required for vehicles towing trailers.
New Customers:
- MN or Western Wisconsin Drivers License or ID with current address and photo
- Current Phone #
- Credit Card OR Check Card
- Other information that may be required: work#, cell #, job address,
proof of insurance, etc.
Payment/Deposits
Required at time rental item is picked up. If driver’s license does
not show a local address, payment by credit card may be required (excluding
open account customers). We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover, and
American Express. Deposits vary per item. Deposit refunded on
return of rental item. Check cards may be used for payments or deposits.
However, check card refunds may take up to 7 days. You are welcome to
use credit cards for deposits and pay with check cards upon return.
Metered Items
Rates for rental items equipped with hour meters are based on 8 hours per
day, 40 hours per week, and 160 hours per month. Additional usage will be
charged accordingly.
Damage Waiver
In order to provide a worry-free rental, Hejny Rentals, Inc. offers an
optional Damage Waiver of 8.99% of the rental amount. The Damage
Waiver protects the customer from the unforeseen cost of repairing
accidental damage to the equipment. The Damage Waiver is automatically
calculated into the rental invoice. It is non refundable.
With acceptance of the Damage Waiver, the customer will not be required to
pay any and all expenses of the damaged equipment up to the full cost of
such equipment if purchased new. The Damage Waiver DOES NOT cover
any loss or damage due to theft, misuse or abuse, unexplained loss, theft by
conversion, unsecured equipment, or any loss due to the customer failing to
care for the rental items with disregard to common sense care of such
equipment.

Our inventory is continually expanding to meet the needs of our customers. Please feel free to recommend equipment.
Pricing
Prices are subject to change. Please call for price quotes. All rental charges are for time out, whether used or not. If you encounter any operational problems, call 651-770-3841 immediately. No credits or adjustments will be made unless we are notified as soon as the problem is encountered.
Delivery and Pick-up
Delivery and pickup are available at reasonable rates. Please call for the charge to your specific location. All rental items should be gathered in a single location convenient for pickup. If you prefer, you may pickup and return your rental items to our location.
Responsibility
Responsibility for rental items remains with the customer from delivery to return. All items should be secured and protected from the weather. Additional charges for replacements are made for missing or damaged items.
Deposit
Deposits vary per item. Deposit refunded on return of rental item.

Bobcats, Excavators, Dingos, Lg. Equipment Orders, etc.
- Deposit - $500 credit card or check card
- Cancellations - 2 day cancellation notice required unless rainout
- Cancellation Charge - $50
Graduation, National Night Out, Large Party Orders, etc.
- Deposit - $100 or order total, whichever is greater
- Cancellations — 30 day cancellation or change notice required
- Cancellation Charge - $100 or order total (minus tax JDW)
Dunk Tanks and Moon Walks
- Deposit - $100
- Cancellations — 30 day cancellation notice or change notice required unless rainout
- Cancellation Charge - $100
Trucks
- Deposit - $200 credit card or check card
- Cancellations - 1 week cancellation notice required
- Cancellation Charge - $59 for 15’ Truck or $129 for 24’ Truck
Enclosed Trailers
- Deposit — Total Rent for time period requested
- Cancellations — 1 week cancellation notice required
- Cancellation Charge — Total Rent for time period requested
- Current Proof of Insurance.
- Satisfactory Vehicle and Hitch.
Boomlift
- Deposit - $500 credit card or check card in addition to the rent
- Cancellations — 2 day cancellation notice required unless rainout
- Cancellation Charge - $100
